About The Sport Bird

Rachel Bird has written two novels inspired by the LA Lakers and is the Orange County Sports Examiner. A graduate of UC Santa Barbara who bleeds blue and gold for the UCLA Bruins, she watches every second of tennis slams, worships Roger Federer, can’t stop talking about the LA Angels of Anaheim, loves golf on Sundays and is known to do push-ups during football game commercials. She’d like to be known as the woman who knows the most about sports in America but you can just call her The Sport Bird.
